Gerald Hamonic’s Story
Gerald holds an A.S. and B.A. in Paralegal Studies from the University of Great Falls in Montana. He furthered his studies with a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science at the University of Western Ontario specializing in legal research. He also holds a Ph.D. from Brunel University in London, England as well as a degree in online teaching and distance learning from Thompson Rivers University. Gerald has worked as a personal injury paralegal in law firms based in Victoria, Kelowna and Kamloops and works with clients who have suffered serious injuries as a result of motor vehicle accidents, occupiers’ liability, medical malpractice and tort claims. Gerald performs a variety of senior-level activities for the firm which touch on legal, medical and economic issues and he is devoted to ensuring the firm’s clients achieve the best possible outcome.
Gerald enjoys being involved in cases with complex and novel issues that require thinking outside the box and achieves great satisfaction investigating the best ways to overcome difficult problems by tapping into his inner private detective. He eagerly pursues making a difference in the lives of those who have experienced loss or injury. When Gerald isn’t serving the needs of personal injury clients, he enjoys spending time on the tennis court, playing floor hockey, or travelling the globe. He is also a passionate film fan and motion picture historian and loves to attend film festivals.
